Galaxy S5 out of stock?

I want to buy an S5 and had a look in a Samsung store, power buy and jaymart but they all tell me "old model, Thailand no have. Only S7." Anyone know where I can buy a new and guaranteed genuine S5?? They're still available in Sweden,  so it seems very strange that they are too old for Thailand...

Maybe you are lucky. I bought an S5 and shortly after the warranty expired,  the mainboard died. Samsung wanted 7,000 baht to replace it. A shop in TukCom Pattaya told me it wasn't worth repairing. It was a bit strange that a friend of mine with an S5 also had the mainboard die. He bought an S7. I just ordered a Xiaomi Mi5 3GB RAM 32GB . This phone was considerably cheaper than an S7. I hope the Xiaomi is better than a Lenovo that I had.

I was thinking of buying one too...but then:

I did read the article before ordering this phone. I decided that xiaomi would be suicidal to allow malware to install on their phones. After I did some more research, I couldn't find any instances or problems.
