Old Cars, Vintage Cars For Restoration

Featured Replies

I'm interested in finding old cars for sale that would be worth restoring.

In particular European makes of cars, but any make considered.

Anyone know where there might be some collections to look at?

.. or are they just where you find them?

Try Hemmings Motor News. Its a monthly mag that specializes in the antique, classic

collectable car hobby and deals with ALL marks, including restoration supplies and parts. I've never seen it on the shelves here, but can always subscribe.

I'm a Buick freak and still have 10 of them back in the States dating from 1910 onward. Once in a while I've seen MG's, Triumphs being driven around for a brief outing by their proud owners.

Some of the cars seen around town on a daily basis would qualify as antique or classics.

Welcome to Thailand, I always wonder what idiots they have there?

my guess is they are drunk, well pissed, or maybe they are sitting there like bevis and buthead

"Hu hu hu Farang, hu hu hu film, hu hu hu" while sitting in their own filth....

Jeeeez! Who are you describing? I hope not our hosts. If you are it's a wonder they put up with us farangs. Problem is we might all get tarred with your brush.

Would a part restored 65 Beetle be what your looking for? :o

You might attend the Hua Hin Vintage Car Parade on 15 - 17 December. The Vintage Car Club of Thailand will be hosting and perhaps someone would point you in the right direction.

You can find alot of old American cars around Sattahip and Korat. I presume they are left over from the Vietnam war.
