DLT Pattaya, new Thai licence

If you want to apply for a new Thai driving licence (bike and car) in Pattaya, do you need to make an appointment or can you simply show up?

 

Anything else you need to remember? I've got my medical certificate, residence certificate, UK driving licence & photos.
