THE SUPREME Court’s Criminal Division for Political Office Holders has issued a warning over the alleged harassment of a state |prosecutor in the case concerning former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra’s alleged negligence of duty in her government’s rice-pledging scheme.

The court said all parties concerned must not threaten anyone during court hearings and those who violate this rule will be held in contempt of court and face punishment.

The warning was issued after an unnamed prosecutor filed a complaint with the court, alleging he was threatened on October 7 by a man and a woman after leaving a court hearing in this controversial case.

A ' glaring ' example of the fragile Thai ego and the need for face, pardon the pun, as he's a state official, a would be somebody, and needs to be looked at in a manner that befits his status, as he sees it anyway.

Whatever happened to the old ' we know where you, live, where your wife shops and which schools your children go to ' routine ?

He didn't exactly waken up to find his favourite buffalo's head in his bed !

Now in the past the Shins were known for threatening judges and finding their home address making those public and many other things. So i can understand judges being a bit afraid also given that bombs have been set off often bij the side that supports the Shins. However just looking angry at someone does not justify these warnings. Bit overkill in my book.

In the past ( and currently) people of power and influence did not need to threaten judges, they just put the money in the bag.

This is just a beat up to make it look as if "justice" is being threatened.

Justice is always available here, provided you are prepared to pay for it.

The mob in charge now made it clear long before the coup that they intended to snuff out any chance of a resurgence of Pheu Thai.

Yes, 2 million baht in a bag. According to this newsreport by Jonathan Head.

The mob in charge did threatened with military courts, AA and whisking oppositions off the streets. I doubt the supreme court will issue them any warning.

How terrible of those lawyers to do something like that behind their client's back and tarnish his image. I'm shocked.

Yes, after a 2 week investigation the lawyers were found guilty by the supreme court for bribery. A court that was and still is heavily influenced by the privy council.

Just a thought
