Asian Moto Champ Will Rise Next Month In Buriram

BURIRAM — Moto racers and their fans from various nations will flock to Isaan for the final round of the Asia Road Racing Championship 2016 on Dec. 3.

 

The upcoming two-day competition is the final round of the game after traveling to five different countries: Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, India and back to Thailand. The competition comes in five classes: SuperSports 600cc, Asia Production 250cc, Underbone 130cc, Asia Dream Cup and Suzuki Asian Challenge.

Reading the first two comments I doubt if you've ever been to the circuit. It's very well organised and the roads are monitored for safety. Please, don't embarrass yourself commenting about these things.

The one thing they don't do well at the circuit is promote the upcoming events!

 

The December calendar on the bric website doesn't show any scheduled events.

Wow that is great. It should really be a good day out - a few cold beers watching the bike whizz around and a healthy injection of cash into the local area!! 

 

Good to see these sort of events in Thailand.

Agreed. Have been talking to the powers that be about the awful websites, for both the motor racing and football. Both need a severe upgrade!

Do you mean all the roads or just around the venue ?

That's good to know.

 

I enjoy having a weekend there and would probably go more often if they gave more advance warning.

 

Publishing a list of riders with a few words about them wouldn't go amiss either, at least when they have a finals day like next weekend.

 

At the World Superbikes meeting last year they did produce a program but they had sold out when I tried to get one. Small things like that could make it so much more enjoyable.

 

Anyway, looking forward to next weekend regardless.

In our case, around the stadium. They used to invite the teenagers to race on the drag strip on Friday nights and it was well attended and well monitored. Had to wear prospers shoes, kit and helmets. The owners are trying to improve road safet around Buriram.
