‘GPS Rapist’: Police release sketch of man who asked for directions from women and assaulted them

BANGKOK: -- Police are hunting for the male suspect who has conducted similar attacks on several women in Rangsit by pretending to ask for directions from the victims before assaulting them.

 

In the past two weeks, students and residents around Thammasat University Rangsit Campus became aware of the serial kidnap and rape attempts. Police said the attacker asked the victims for directions to an apartment and asked them to put information to the GPS device in his car, before dragging them into his car, according to Bangkok Post.

 

He targets women who walk alone on the road at night, scaring female students who reside at dormitories around the campus.
