Experts urge people to help climate-change mitigation as big goals loom

Officials from relevant agencies discuss Thailand’s climate-change mitigation strategies and the agenda to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at a session held by NOW26 TV channel yesterday.

 

BANGKOK:-- THE government is confident that Thailand will achieve the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 20 per cent within 2020, but is calling on all citizens to participate in the effort to meet an even more ambitious goal by 2025.

Worldwide protests against ‘ethnic cleansing’ in Myanmar
