New sized Leo quat yai.

Featured Replies

Called into my local today for a couple of Leo's. After a week away in the village they produce a new style of Leo big.

Instead of the usual 630ml bottles  now I get a new design bottle with 620ml.

Seems Singh beer company have reduced the content.  Anyone else come across this yet?

Yep. No change.

Do they still have the date of manufacture on the label? If they do what is it?

So they reduced the contents with 10 ml. Was the price reduced accordingly ?

Is that the same bottle that says 620ml on the neck and 630ml on the big sticker?

Cheeky fokkers... Might only be 10ml still pretty shifty, though a lot of drink companies have done similar in the past

I believe (happy to stand corrected) that the large Chang are now 620ml. So it was only a matter or time before Singha and Leo followed suit.

same with Chang, Leo is probably one of the worst 'beers' in the world so no loss there.

Yeah l miss Chang 6.4 in 630ml, then it was 6.0 in 630ml and now 5.5 in 620ml but still it keeps the cost down along with the headache l guess.

Sing kwat yai now THB 60 even in Thai 'soi shops'.

So now I know from the observant OP that they're all onto the 'Toblerone' scam, I'll go back to Singha.

Chang is not to my taste, but the headache is the dealbreaker, I'd rather pay a few bath extra to enjoy my beer at the time, and the morning after as well.

Leo is for locals, not meaning to be impolite, what i mean is I think it is brewed to be drunk with ice, as that's the only way I can drink it as well.
