Munich
With our house we also bought a 1,7 m giant clay vase (amphora) in the garden. Does anybody have an idea what usefull things I could do with it? As the top opening is just 20 cm, I doubt that something might grow in it. Any idea? djayz
Maybe if you posted a photo of it, people might be able to give you a few tups as to what it could be used for.

kickstart
They are known as Ong- Nam in Thai used for colleting rain water ,which is what I suggest you do ,can use the water to water plants in the garden . One dairy farmer near me filled one up with sorghum, a forage for cattle , and made silage from it ,made good silage to ,but not easy to fork out with the narrow opening .
