A man hired to work on a farm in Koh Kong province’s Mondul Seima district was attacked by a wild boar which seriously injured his legs, according to local police. Pictures of the man, identified by local media as 50-year-old Seng Nem, showed he sustained serious wounds to his feet and thighs, while a video showed he was hospitalized at the provincial hospital.

Deputy district police chief Eang Poch said the incident happened in a mountainous area controlled by the military. “The man was attacked by a wild boar in a mountainous area under the control of military unit 303,” he said, declining further comment and referring additional questions to military officials who could not be reached for comment.

Pak Khlorng commune police chief Lim Thy said the man was a migrant worker who had been hired to work on a farm on a mountain – the name of which he could not remember. “It was on the mountain next to Pursat province. The victim was a migrant hired to do farming up there,” he said.

Wow!!! An wild animal that hasn't been eaten yet???  :shock1:

Probably a ferrel hog, an escaped domestic hog that will quickly turn wild. Growing nasty tusks and long hair.

I recently saw two large boars with a number of little ones on the beach in Rayong. The locals didn't seem to mine them at all. Me I. was thinking BBQ.
