Supreme Court upholds life imprisonment on Kanchit Tapsuwan

 

 

BANGKOK: -- The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld the lower court’s life imprisonment handed down on former Samut Sakhon MP Kanchit Tapsuwan for the murder of the former Samut Sakhon provincial administration organization chairman Udorn Kraiwatnusorn.

 

The incident took place on December 25, 2011 at the public toilet of the PTT petrol station in Village 7, Tambon Tha Sai, Muang district of Samut Sakhon. It was alleged that Udorn was relieving himself in the toilet when Kanchit bursted in and fired ten shots into the former at point-blank range, killing him at the scene. Personal conflict was cited as the cause of the killing.

I automatically click on the link and read to the end of the article when it inevitable says that they are out on bail pending appeal to the X court.
