52% of Internet users spend 5 hours online at home daily, survey finds

By THE NATION

A NEW SURVEY conducted by Linksys shows that 52 per cent of Internet users in Thailand spend up to five hours online each day at home.

Conducted on 500 people aged between 18 and 45, the survey learned that more than half of the respondents logged on at home to check their emails as well as to share and upload photos and video clips via social media platforms such as Facebook, LINE and Instagram.

And when walking, driving, riding a m/cycle and on public transport.

.....while 85% admitted to spending 15 hours glued to their smart phones and 9 hours sleeping daily.

Obviously some TV members were not included in the survey, had they been, it would have been a lot higher.

I resemble that remark.

how is this different from measuring how much time was spent in a "classroom"???

but hey.... you get a degree at some point.... so that is time well spent.  REALLY?

.... off topic post?..... no!

.....to continue..... maybe....

it's WHAT is happening on the computer.. and in the classroom in particular (ahem).. that matters. and of course what is NOT happening as well.... but SHOULD be happening.... eh?

After you've been everywhere and seen everything , what is there to do ?

Now with google maps and streetview in Thailand , no reason to go out.

For Thais too , cheaper to watch online than to go in person.

There are plenty of things to do, you just need motivation.

I wonder if primary school students were involved in the survey. Some of our students came to the school like a zombie, 'cos they were playing computer games on the previous night .

Image result for mobile phone we do not need zombie

You stole my thunder yes we TV key board jockeys I would guess were not included in the survey. My time on TV has been a period of enlightenment meeting other old farts that have fought the good fight over the years. Its a hodge podge of people here some really nice some not so but criticism is accepted as I am not always right. I like gentle criticism not the ones that start off saying "hey stupid" Great to hear other viewpoints broadens the mind.

The irony of some TV posters, with thousands of posts, moaning about people spending too much time online....

Seeing as how your just starting out on TV young fella here is a like. Irony and rhetoric are common here part of the old farts humor process. Give us a chance we will grow on you.
