December 7, 200619 yr I am still able to call mobile in thailand starting 966 without inserting 8 - misteries of thai telecommunication Are you sure you're calling Thailand with +966? Or can you speak arabic?
December 7, 200619 yr Of course, we don't mean 8 immediately after the 66 country code, but after the first digit in the local number. So if the old Thai mobile number started 0433---- it becomes 08433-----
December 7, 200619 yr PB the "8" goes immediately after the +66 when calling from outside the country. Old number +66 12345678 Now +66 8 12345678
December 7, 200619 yr Are you sure you're calling Thailand with +966? Or can you speak arabic? no, I call +66 966 - which is a mobile and get through. I call that number every day - even today.
