Hi all,

Last week I bought two Siamese kittens from a very well known breeder.

The father is a champion as well as the mother.

So my question is: What features make a champion?

Cheers,

Alex

My understanding of "champion" means they have been shown at shows and a winning animal will fit the breed standards perfectly.

google breed standards for siamese and you will get an idea of what is looked for. Be aware that the US and the UK can have different breed standards.

(I have watched one too many Crufts shows on Animal Planet :o )

Can we have some pics? I've always liked the Siamese cats and it'd be nice to see some young champs. :D

I expected to see them everywhere when I first come to Thailand. :o

Hi Madness,

I surely will after I am back from Holland.

So look here on wednesday or thursday and you will see my little champions :D

I did a search and indeed the admired features ar a bit diffent for US UK and Europe.

I wonder what they are in Thailand (cannot read Thai yet).

Thanks!

Hi Alex,

I am a cat lover also, if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for them and where from? as I am also on the lookout for Siamese kittens.

Hi,

I paid 3500 Bath each and the girl also gave two big bags of high quality dry food.

Her name is :Khun Ali and tel nr is : 029341297, 0819387496

She has about 30-40 kittens around the year and is quite famous it seems.

I dunno if you can speak Thai otherwise bring someone who does.

And I already warn you, I wanted to buy 5-6 kittens as they all are very cute!

Good luck!

Alex

edit: Sorry it is somewhere near the Lad Prao area.

Thanks Alex

3500 seems quite cheap for a pedigree.... I bought 2 in the uk about 8 years back and they were 10000. Do they come with certifide papers?

Thanks again...I will give her a call.
