December 29, 20169 yr I notice that the Form "SUBJECT TRANSFER STAMP TO NEW PASSPORT" is filed twice on the Immi WEB Site - once also under the suffix 'Res Cert' although the Forms appear to me identical - so same Form used. I need to visit Immi to get my NEW Passport stamps transferred from the OLD. But would also like to get my first Res Cert as now considering a car purchase. Does anyone know if I can get both things processed on Floor 2 at Rimping at the same time - with a single action using the one Form? Looks like I have to be at Rimping between 9am & 11am to get a queue No for the Res Cert - so would save a double trip or double Forms etc. Best Rgds.
December 29, 20169 yr I see no similarity between the two forms. This one says " SUBJECT TRANSFER STAMP TO NEW PASSPORT" http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/download/pdf/transferstamp.pdf The other " APPLICATION FORM FOR RESIDENCE CERTIFICATE IN THAILAND" http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/download/pdf/res_cert.pdf There is another form shown as "Transfer Stamp to a New Passport Form (for residencee certificate)" but it is for those on permanent residence to have stamps transferred. Not sure where the Rimping office is. What city or province is it in.

Sorry about the confusion - I thought Promenada was Rimping - my wife and I have been using the two names interchangeably - no doubt wrongly. I meant Promenada. But obviously I am trying to be too clever ref the Forms and complicating the situation. It was the latter Form you mention "Transfer Stamp to a New Passport Form (for residencee certificate)" that set me to thinking. I am aware of my necessary course of action now - apologise for wasted time. Best Rgds.
