Korat man "drank himself to death" in four day New Year binge

KORAT: -- A Korat man was found dead in a shack next to his house after a four day drinking binge to welcome in the New Year.

 

Jai Nakphonkrang, 45, was found unresponsive by his younger sister on Monday at the address in Hin Lat village in Dan Khun Thot district.

 

He hadn't eaten a thing for days.

 

She said that Jai normally loved to drink alcohol and had started his session on December 30th and continued for four days straight. He was enjoying the New Year break and the cool weather, she said.

 

She had called on him to eat something but when she got no reply she alerted neighbors. But CPR proved pointless - he was already dead.

 

The body was sent for autopsy to discover the actual cause.

Why, this guy was not doing any harm to anyone.. not driving a car not abusing someone not starting fights. Just drinking and he died... his life as long as they don't endanger others they can do all the drug's they want.

Anyway... RIP...he did it his way..

I doubt it had anything to do with how long he had been drinking more to do with what he was drinking ! some of those home made whisky he would have been embalmed or pickled after 4 days

Stupid way to go ! Now, 4 days of constantly on the job in soi 6 or something .........................

news story? seen this plenty. everyone gets tired of it.... doesn't work at all... always drunk.. let the fellow stay in bed.... leave him alone... don't help him out or do a thing at all. finished.

Indeed - "amemus, edamus, bibamus, ne laboremus"; this is the way I want to go, he was a bit young though; it's all to do with timing.
