Friends save policeman's son as he goes live on Facebook to hang himself from a tree

UBON RATCHATHANI: -- Friends managed to save the life of a policeman's son in Ubon after he went live on Facebook in a suicide attempt.

 

The 28 year old son of an Ubon sergeant filmed himself preparing to hang himself from a tree near a restaurant where he work.

 

But his colleagues dashed out and managed to get him down just in time as medics and police arrived, reported Daily News.

 

Friends of the man named only as "Yo" said they were tidying up yesterday in the restaurant on the Moon River where they all worked.

 

Then they saw that their friend had crept off and started recording himself on Facebook "live". He was threatening to kill himself. They implored him through Facebook not to kill himself.

 

But then as his colleagues watched online he pulled out a rope and followed through with his threat and hanged himself from the bough of a banyan tree. The friends called the police.

 

Frantic, they rushed out of the restaurant to try and find him and succeeded in locating him nearby. They were just in time and saved his life as he was swinging from the rope.

 

Police said he was gasping for breath when they arrived. Medics performed first aid at the scene before taking him to hospital.

 

Nobody knew the reason he had decided to end his life. "Yo" is the son of an Ubon police sergeant.

I gave a friend of a friend a lift in my car in England one time and going down the road he started to punch himself in the face ,I stopped the car and told him to get out ,I asked why he did that ,he said to teach his gf a lesson ,plonkers  everywhere

My mate at home did the same but used a frying pan!!!

Same thing happened to me except it was my girlfriend punching me in the face and not to punish herself, but to punish me. She also flung me from the car. 

He need mental help , sadly he will not get it. He might try again in a few weeks.
