I have never heard it used in Thai as it is in English.

In Thai there can be several words used for suprised depending on the circumstances.

for example ประหลาดใจ used more like "surprised in a strange way"

and if you talking about surprised as in a good surprise than I would say.

มีเรื่องทำให้ตื่นเต้นสองเรื่อง

mi ruang tam hai duun den song ruang

I guess its like saying "this has made me excited twice" (not literal transaltion)
