Hi all!

I am aware that the following might have been asked ad nauseum,  so please be patient with me.

My partner and I had a one year Non Immigrant OA retirement visa, issued in Australia.  

It ran out on the 17th December, 2016.

We left Thailand several times, and each time we returned we were stamped back in, with what appears to be an extension for a year from that re-entry date.

We are returning to Thailand in March for about two months.

Do we need another visa?

Unless you have a Re Entry Permit you will get a stay of 30 days.

If you had got a Re Entry Permit you would have got a stay until 19 November.

You missed it, asking too late.

As Lite Beer writes.

If you had got a re-entry permit before departing on DEC 20 you would get another stamp until 19 NOV 2017 when entering in March.

A Single Entry Tourist Visa (SETV) would give you 60 days and could be extended by 30 days if required.
