Hi all, 

 

I am in the early stage of obtaining a non-imm visa B for my future job in Thailand and I am planning to go to Phnom Pehn to apply for this.

I have a couple of questions which i hope that you can help me with.

 

1. How many days should I expect that this will take?

 

2. I know that you can get travel agents to apply for a tourist visa for you, but I reckon that I would have to apply for a non-imm B in person?

 

3. I have received a small forest of documents from my future employer which I have to bring to the embassy. However, they also advice me to bring documentation that my previous employer in Bangkok has paid all my taxes and paid them correctly (I was on an expat package, and therefore never paid the taxes myself). I have never received this document from my previous employer. How important is this document and would I be able to obtain my new visa without me showing this?

 

Apologies in advance if this has been covered in previous posts, but I reckon that these things change quite rapidly.
