Hi I need to get my 5 yr old British born daughter her Thai passport. My wife(Thai National) says I have to go to the British embassy to get something before I go amphur to apply. Can someone please tell me how to go about this please .Thankyou

Does your daughter have a Thai birth certificate issued by the Thai embassy in London? If yes has she been registered in a house book at an Amphoe to get a Thai ID number?

I can think of nothing that needs to done at the UK embassy for get her a Thai passport.

If your wife is applying for a Thai passport in Thailand, without you being present, she will need a letter of consent from you.

 

You get the consent letter at the London embassy. It's a standard form that you must sign in front of a consular official.
