Former MP Chuwit Kamolvisit swears in front of Tiger God Shrine Tuesday to leave politics forever.

BANGKOK: -- Outspoken former MP Chuwit Kamolvisit Tuesday announced that he ended his political career and would start a new career as media.

Chuwit made his promise by swearing before Tiger God Shrine, a famous Chinese temple located within the walls of Rattanakosin Island.

He said he would enter his new role as media to tell the truth to people through a television channel but declined to elaborate which channel.

A couple of Junta leaders way back did the same, only they were four times as worst,  till they we're exposed, the reporter who exposed them never ever worked in a good job again , after the paper all of a sudden had a staff cut back, he died a broken man aged 51 ...........................:coffee1:

That park has sadly been closed for some time, and no doubt will shortly be sold to a developer.

Yes - closed for 'repairs' over six months ago. Pity - I used to sit there and read sometimes.

No amount of washing and soap will get the stench of politics off. Try the amulet route.

The last time I saw a prostration like that was years ago when my sainted grandmother took me to a tent revival.

The one thing this man is good at is washing his hands of the past.

Not just politics.

Ahhh yes!!! Thailands version of Fox News. YES

Its a big tent in a field beside a church. Its full of folding chairs. A small choir is in the corner playing and singing "Onward Christian Soldiers" There is a lay "preacher" at the front holding up his hands similar to the picture and saying "Hallelujah Lord Be Praised" Young men are going up and down the aisle with wicker baskets collecting money for "the cause" If the spirit moves you you can go up to the front and make personal confession and ask for forgiveness and the preacher will do a laying on of hands and bang your forgiven. That is a tent revival.

At least we can be assured that a silly TV actor could never become president.   :shock1:

Thanks Elgordo 38, that sort of enlightened me a bit on these christian activities.

Do I say "hallelujah the lord be praised"?

Bro you can say whatever turns your crank. As a young lad I was more fascinated by the horses and buggies parked outside. It was a Mennonite revival.
