The court has approved the police request for arrest warrants against two additional suspects in connection with Wat Dhammakaya’s alleged flouting of the law.

Pol Gen Srivara Rangsipromnakul, deputy commissioner-general of the Royal Thai Police, did not name the two suspects but said that they were charged with association with an illegal association and obstruction of police work.

He disclosed that there are, so far, more than 300 cases pending against Wat Dhammakaya, mostly concerning encroachment of public land, association with an illegal association and obstruction of police work.

He added that, so far, six suspects had been issued with arrest warrants.

Whoopee.

is someone supposed to be scared?

Please stop this reporting, i nearly spilled my coffee.

Keep issuing arrest warrants, nobody is taking any notice.

Nobody in authority has the balls to arrest anybody connected to Dhamakaya.

I, Eligius,  have just issued arrest warrants for 7,542 monks whom I suspect of wrongdoing ....

My 'arrest warrants' have just about as much power, point, effectiveness, validity and meaningfulness as do those of the 'state'.

Pathetic country. Beyond a joke.

Why do authorities insist on making fun of themselves? Just arrest them and talk after.

But they have stacks and stacks of arrest warrants.... you could almost kill someone if you hit them on the head with them....  that is really scary

Where the Big Monk anyways. TIT

You let the cat out of the bag again. When will they arrest the chief there are no more Indians left to throw in jail if indeed any are there.

Issue retirement visas for all police chiefs. But also a plain ticket

Yawn.   This is news?

News will be when the police and/or military grow the cajones to actually enter the wat and arrest the criminal in saffron (assuming he is still there, which I highly doubt).
