When exactly is a TM30 required?  

 

I'm now also seeing a couple of elders that were used to extensions but are now on ME non-immigrant visas reporting to immigration within 24 hours after they arrive back.  

 

My understanding is that TM30 is actually the responsibility of the housemaster.  But it is only requested either directly from a hotel/guesthouse/landlord or if a foreigner goes to immigration wishing to do a long term extension.  

 

Can they request TM30 it if extending a Visa Exempt or Tourist Visa entry?

 

Some office have been enforcing the TM30 any time a person needs to do something at immigration.

Some offices want one every time you enter the country while other only want it if you change addresses.
