Black arab Posted January 19, 2017 Share Posted January 19, 2017 A friend of mine has been to Burri ram immogration today to get an extension by marriage to his non imm o.He has been given a 60 day extention while imm send his details to Bkk police to check he is a good guy.Can anyone confirm this is the normal process as neither of us has had to do this before Cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ubonjoe Posted January 19, 2017 Share Posted January 19, 2017 That would not be a 60 day extension it would be a under consideration stamp with a report back date on it 30 days from when his current permit to stay ends. Most offices up here in the north east start them form the end of the permit to stay while some others start it from the date of application. That is done for all extensions of stay based upon marriage. The application has to be approved by the division 4 headquarters in Korat not Bangkok.
