nevcross Posted January 19, 2017 Share Posted January 19, 2017 I would appreciate any thoughts/advice on the following; Some friends, early 20s couple are thinking of a trip to Thailand in May-June time. Amongst various ideas is time in Samui/Phangan, they would like to attend one of Phangan's parties. After that they would like to find a quieter, relaxed, chill out type beach area. Hopefully a nice beach, clean waters with good amenities. It is many years since I spent time down there so I would appreciate any thoughts you have. I wonder if such places still exist on Samui/Phangan?, or on the main land?, or , would they be better advised to look for this kind of experience on the other side, possibly around Lanta, Phi Phi, Krabi? they have 16 days in the Kingdom so 2 centres plus Bangkok would be workable.
