Sending parcels to Philippines and Cambodia. Do customs asked to pay any tax ?

Featured Replies

Hello,

When sending goods to Cambodia and Philippines, do you usually get hit by customs or is it as easy as Thailand to never pay any customs fees ?

What is your experience ?

Thank you.

I can't tell you about the Phiippines

But for Cambodia, if sent through regular mail, parcels tend to either noit arrive or arrive heavily plundered. The postal system does not work well and theft is rife. Unlike Thailand, where couriers are to be avoided, with Cambodia sending by courier is essential.

Usually no duty to pay though it may depend on what the parcel is.

Thank you. Even Thai EMS is not safe to Cambodia ? Which courrier do you usually use ? For clothes and food.
