Multiple O visa

Featured Replies

Hi my girl friend is Cambodian on a 3 month tourist visa, she has been for the last 4/5 years, i am Australian on a retirement visa. we have a 3 year old born here in Thailand, the immigration officer at Khap Choeng told me she can get a Multiple O visa based on our child being here in Thailand,  she has to go to Thai immigration in Phnom Phen to get this visa, has anyone been through or can anyone give me a bit more info on this subject  Thanks

If your child is on an extension of stay as your dependent then she might be able to get a non-o visa. But I doubt very much if she can get a multiple entry non-o at the embassy in Phnom Penh.

I would say that the majority of immigration officers are not fully aware of the the requirements to get visas at embassies and consulates.

He was correct in saying that she could only get a visa in Phnom Penh  since Cambodia is on the list of countries that can only get visas in their home country.
