Having looked at the embassy website, it seems they are open right up to christams eve, They only mention being closed on the 25th onwards.

Does any one know if they are accepting visa applications all the way up to christamas eve or is there a cut off date?

As Christmas day is a Monday and the VAC isn't open at the week-ends, then the last day to submit an application before Christmas will be Friday 22nd December.

However, the visa section will be on holiday from 25th to 27th December, so I assume that any applications submitted on the 22nd wont be looked at until Thursday 28th at the earliest.
