PM orders that public be kept up to date on G2G corruption case

BANGKOK, 13 February 2017 (NNT) – The Prime Minister has assured that authorities followed due process when seizing rice involved in a graft-tainted Government-to-Government (G2G) trade deal.

Prime Minister’s Office Spokesperson Lt Gen Sansern Kaewkamnerd has given a progress report on the Department of Foreign Trade forwarding a case to the Legal Execution Department seeking damages against 6 parties from a G2G rice deal corruption case, mentioning that Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-ocha has followed the case intently and assuring that both offices have worked closely on the issue. He relayed that finalization of the case may take some time as it must be dealt with thoroughly but noted action will accelerate after February 14 when the Legal Execution Department fully takes over.

The spokesman let on that the Prime Minister has instructed him to regularly update the public on the case’s progress and to allay any concerns that it is not being dealt with appropriately. He reminded that the statute of limitations in the case is 10 years, affording the government ample time to conclude it.

Pointing his finger, from where I am sitting that is up north? Case Solved its that lot again (my Foot)?

I do wish they would use the right words, then I would know what they are on about at a glance

graft

Definition

a shoot or twig inserted into a slit on the trunk or stem of a living plant, from which it receives sap.
synonyms:

scion, cutting, shoot, offshoot, bud, slip, new growth, sprout, sprig

Or

Graft

I have done some hard work

Thai Graft=

Corruption

Maybe they do not want the world to know just how much corruption graft goes on here

This announcement comes with tongue planted firmly in cheek seeing The PM has already given himself a big dose of immunity on his own more recent rice subsidy scheme.

Interesting to see how the compensation issue has evolved entirely from an Administrative Order without any Court ruling finding the defendants guilty, much less culpable for any specified damages.

Regardless of the outcome of the Supreme Court proceedings, the government as a plaintiff alone has determined the amount of compensation and will proceed to gain control of the defendants' assets through its newly-formed Legal Execution Department.

Paryut's reform of Justice - grab assets first, justice later.

Better this as that they get away with their ill gains, it should happen more like this not give them chances to hide their assets. I believe in the US they also freeze suspects their assets so it seems logical to me. Maybe your a bit bias because it involves your hero's.

All the other corruption cases? Why not "order" those to be updated for the "public"?

For some reason I doubt that the "government" is somehow going to let any red-shirts off?

Other corruption cases should be updated too.. but this one was especially vile because they kept saying no corruption.. while the ones at the top stole the country blind with this fake G2G deal.

Just imagine.. selling it at a lower prive (could only be done with G2G) now they got the rice..

step 2.. selling it back into the system (not transporting it to the foreign country like they should) at the higher price

Screwing the taxpayers over twice. Meanwhile YL and her people bullied everyone who asked questions about the program stating there was no corruption while her top ministers were involved... duh.. no wonder she is being charged too.

Once you start prioritizing one corruption case over another, your "moral authority" is lost.

No doubt they will be overwhelmed by public interest!  :whistling:

ah yes the red defense. :saai:

Dont go after our people .. its bullying....

The only cases of corruption this little guy instructs his boys to give the public access to, is former officials. When was the last time you saw a current army officer, high ranking policeman, minister, or CEO arrested, charged and convicted of a crime? It just does not happen.

Little P. Moving Thailand backwards at an alarming pace.

Outstandingly so. Can it be followed on social media? Is it one of the topics OK for our consumption? Just asking your generalship, sir.

Q: "Have you found the Lord?"

A: "I didn't know He was lost"

Was there ever a "Lord" I can give you the Facebook page of a guy that will convince there is no such entity. For the sake of disclosure I have not but my friend scoured the world looking for signs of him. The only signs he found were of a tourist nature. Discussing the "Lord' to much would surely be stressing posting rights here.

There are more than 20 churches scattered around the Mediterranean that claim to have the True Foreskin as a sacred relic. Does that help?

How about the public to ask where the Hell you got your millions TIT
