i would agree on this point. Seems Land of Smiles is fading on their image. It must be the happiness given by their Thaksin family leadership making everyone so happy they act this way. Thailand seems to be regressing in their lives. I rarely see any Thai smile unless I am handing them money for something. Go look anywhere crowded, and you may see one in 100 with a smile on their face and most likely it will be because they are looking at something funny on their phone. -

The Thai military sucks an enormous amount of money out of the treasury each year and provides very little in return, so they have to somehow justify their existence. They're blowing this up into something way beyond what it is, and it's likely just a flexing of muscles to remind people that they're there, and that they're somehow relevant. -

Nothing wrong with a woman that stays home and takes care of a man and the kids, as many westerners do. There's a difference between hiring a woman as a sex object that stays home and cooks dinner and one that does her share and is with you as a partner. Greed is easy to spot, and those that are aren't willing to help with the money and only look at others as a financial gain. -
