No night boats that I know, but a fisherman might take you. Ask at Cactus or one of the other bars.

heya, stay on Haad Yuan for few months every year, usually boats going all night but you could be waiting for a while depending on how many people are going but you'll always get back. But now its big wave season so not as many long tails go, theyre not too good in bad seas, mostly only fiberglass boats. Might cost you a bit more, usually 150-200 at night time but not too sure bout this time of year. Full Moon and New Years parties gone be going on so there will be people going out alot, you'll definitely find people to share boats with. And Jet is right, if ur in Hat Rin just ask at Cactus.

There are boats going though, my boyfriend has a boat and still goes out every day to Hat Rin, theres always a way to get over and at this time of year alot of the taxi boats only stop at Haad Thien, sometimes they cant stop at Haad Yuan cuz waves make it hard for them to get into the beach so ur sorted if your staying there. Have Fun :o
