PHITSANULOK, 23 February 2017 (NNT) - The Public Relations Department has held a meeting with its regional offices to emphasize cooperation between public relations agencies in effectively delivering information to the public.

In Phitsanulok Province, PRD Director-General Lt Gen Sansern Kaewkumnerd delivered his department’s policy address on fulfilling the government’s public relations policy. The meeting was attended by PRD Deputy Directors-General Charoon Chaisorn and Phumsit Kuntayanugulkit, as well as the director of the PRD’s region 4 office Chalermchai Junthornsena.

Lt Gen Sansern called on officials to perform their duties to the best of their abilities and inform the general public on accurate facts.

As a government agency, Lt Gen Sansern said the PRD must utilize all communication technologies such as radio, television, and social media and ensure that all channels convey the same message. The PRD must also work to make sure that the content it provides is appealing to the public. The Director-General said that these are the challenges the PRD must address in order to deliver accurate and effective communication to the public.
