BANGKOK: -- Initial findings have shown that seven members of the National Legislative Assembly have not missed the assembly meetings beyond the time limits set by the constitution, NLA president Pornpetch Wichitchaolachai said Thursday.

He said the information revealed by Mr Srisuwan Janya, secretary-general of Constitution Protection Association, showing seven assemblymen, including former defence permanent secretary and younger brother of Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha, General Preecha, had been absent from assembly meetings beyond the legal limits.

Srisuwan demanded the NLA to disqualify the seven assemblymen.

They were named by the self named Prime minister so at the end . They are as illegal as the Pm is.

I hope one fine day in the near future, someone will sue them for that....

The PM'S brother has been present 6 times only out of 456 sessions. So it is not beyond legal limits. What was the legal limit? 5 times? :coffee1:

Maybe a note from his Mommy bypasses the legal limit. The whole of Thai government currently is just a family affair.

Taking a page out of Trump's book? Ignore facts, and lie.

Well previous politicians did that, so maybe the books older than Trump!

One here even admitted it and said it was ethical to lie if it makes people happy! Yeah for happy governments -" the rice scheme didn't loose any money,   it was self financing and a great success well thought out by a genius and excellently implemented thanks to a shrewd Chairperson"  They're you go - ignore all the facts but happy now>

Will we be shown a copy of the report and told what the legal limits are and the degree to which the limits were complied with by the accused 7?   Of course not!  Once again the investigation is being carried out by the NLA on its own members, so what did you expect except the usual bucket of white-wash?
