bendejo
So, I have Windows 10 installed on my laptop, in a 60Gb partition of which Win10 takes up app. 42Gb. About 5Gb goes to hibernation file and page swap, maybe as much as another 3Gb to installed programs and app data (when possible I install programs on another partition). Now I see Win10 laptops/notebooks with 32Gb hard drives like this one http://www.target.com/p/acer-spin-1-sp111-31-c2w3-touch-notebook-turquoise-blue/-/A-52152149 (click Item Details to see specs) Are there mini-versions of Windows for machines like this? If so, just how much user space would be left on a 32Gb drive?
Seligne2
32GB! That has to be a typo...
KittenKong
I have a miniPC that runs full Win10 on a 32Gb SD card. It is the standard version.
Pib
Only 16GB is required to install Win 10, but once some other very basic apps, hibernation files, etc., become involved it can possibly eat up 25GB. A lot depends on the type of install done, settings, basic apps, etc.
