Could someone tell me where I can buy this and how much it costs? The last question is, if I left the country with it, say for example 100 liters, will there be problems?

Maybe you had no answer because no one knows?

Have you seen a painted swimming pool in Thailand?

There's a shop next door to CCP in Chonburi.

Go and have a look there.

People do paint swimming pools in Thailand. People also paint fish ponds in Thailand. I have seen Jotun Paint for a fish pond feature of Jack's Resort in Buriram on the Buriram Phutthaisong Highway 2074.  I have seen that Nippon Paint and TOA paint offer special paint for this sort of use. I have seen pool paint advertised on a Surin Swimming Pool Thailand on line shop. Leaving Thailand with that amount of paint in one gallon buckets will be an adventure. The swimming pool paint, water tank paint, fish pond paint is listed on several paint manufacturer web sites in Thailand. Pool & Spa might stock pool paint at their showroom.  I do not know which paint shop in Bangkok would stock such paint, but the major paint companies might help you if a Thai speaker calls their domestic sales office.

Unless you find a proprietary pool paint dont for f**ks sake use Sista D150, Shell Kote or any other acrylic paint that people say will be ok for a pool.

I just used Sista D150 on my fish pond. It's ok for water pressure acting against it but any ground water going from the outside of your pool shell through the wall will push it away from the side of the pool. You'll have bubbled paint peeling off.

Happened on a leak into my concrete filter tank the other day.

If  you have not purchased yet ,give a two part epoxy paint careful consideration.an excellent product and should last for many years.

Hey up Biggles.

I waterproofed my pool with Crocodile 2k. It quoted a hydrostatIc pressure resistance and is specced for swimming pools. Good adhesion to render and provides good suction for laying tiles onto.

Just finished painting my fish pond (above ground) using Sista D150. Letting it harden for a few days before filling. I'll let you know how I get on.

Tallyhoe, over and out.
