snoop1130 Posted February 28, 2017 Share Posted February 28, 2017 Thailand coach Kiatisak signs new deal on deadline By Kitinan Sanguansak The Nation Just when it looked like coach Kiatisak Senamuang’s highly successful tenure in charge of the Thailand team would come to unceremonious ending, the former national striker managed to reach a compromise in time to sign a new contract with the Football Association of Thailand. The Thai FA boss Pol Gen Somyot Poompanmuang confirmed at the start of the week the association set February 28 as a deadline for the 43-year-old to sign a new deal or they would find somebody else to replace him. The Thai FA’s threat came after negotiations over Kiatisak’s new contract had gone on for more than a month, with the two parties reportedly being deadlocked over the tax burden that would arise during the length of the deal.
