AYUTTHAYA: -- Two tourists and a mahout were injured when a bull elephant tried to mount the female elephant they were riding on.

The tourists and handler were thrown to the ground and needed to go to hospital, Thairath reported.

The accident happened at the Moo Ban Chang Ayothaya elephant camp in Ayuthaya yesterday.

The tourists were being taken back to the loading area after their walk around the facility when they passed a bull elephant.

He tried to mount the female elephant who the camp said was a new arrival.

Nana Nakamura, 21, Sayaka Okamoto, 22 and mahout Chainarong Phokaew, 27, from Surin were thrown to the ground. They were treated at the scene by foundation medics then taken to hospital but later released.

The camp paid for their treatment and promised to tighten up their operation.

Police or other authorities were not reported as being involved.

I hope they paid a little bit more then just for treatment. Otherwise they should be forced to do that.

I told them not to take the elephant to Pat on a day out

Show Time

imagine filling out the workers compensation forms.

travel insurance for the tourists, 'be honest ladies, you fell off a scooter, that sounds beliveable, not a randy tusker'

It appears the elephant had more intentions then just making a trunk call !

A mahout once told me that they know which elephants fancy each other. It's a management issue tantamount to negligence not to keep these elephants apart when people are riding.

"Police or other authorities were not reported as being involved."

maybe because nobody bothered to inform them, keep it quiet.

'Randy Pachyderm'.  Seems familiar.  Isn't he a member of TV?

F*cked by an elephant... reminds me of the guy who went to doctor for his torn butt. Said he had been f*cked by an elephant. Doctor explained that the elephant, though long was not so thick. The guy retorted that the elephant fingered him first!!! hahahahaha

:sorry:

The world would be a better place if these magnificent animals were not used as an amusement for tourists-there does seem to an improvement in the number of animals being paraded around for photos- which is good.

All the tiger zoos/ parks are an absolute disgrace- but we do have one group of tourists who really don't care- mind you if they could eat them - they would .

Great movie loved it. Laughed through the whole thing. If animals are not given the privilege to mate more they will disappear. Humans on the other hand are mating to much. 9.7 billion by 2050 where oh where will they put them all??

No different than a randy moose in ruting season. You don't want to get any where near them.

Brothers Grimsby.   Had me howling on the floor.  First thing I thought of when reading this story.
