Chula Expo 2017 to kick off this month

BANGKOK, 3 March 2017 (NNT) - Chulalongkorn University is set to organize an academic exhibition entitled ‘Chula Expo 2017’ in the middle of this month to promote its academic achievements to the public.

Held every three years, the exhibition first took place in 1972. Each year the event is organized under different concepts to reflect the country’s current trends. Chula Expo 2017 will feature innovations that serve various economic and social purposes.

The expo also celebrates the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the university. Chula Expo 2017 will be divided into three sections namely smart city, health city, and human city.

Visitors can also join CU Talk discussion on innovation and technology at the university’s conference hall. Those interested in innovations that are based on the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s advice are advised to visit Sala Phra Keaw.

An art gallery will be set up next to the university’s museum, featuring photos and films of the late King’s inspiring inventions.

Chula Expo 2017 will take place from March 15th to 19th. For more information please visit the university’s Facebook page.
