I am not sure how to pose a question on ThaiVisa. Yesterday I sent this message to 'contact Thaivisa' but I am repeating it here with apologies because I not sure if that was correct or even if this is, as nowhere can I find instructions for this. Put it down to my advanced years!

“I have to shortly apply for my annual extension to my visa on basis of retirement, my 12th at Udon Thani. The current GBP/ Thai Baht exchange rate trends suggests that on the day my income will be just marginally over the 65,000 monthly requirement. I have however K350 savings in my name lodged with the GSB for three months now and can therefore pursue a joint approach.  Has anybody recent experience of this at Udon Thani and able to advise me whether I can just take my Bank Book, plus copies of course, or will I require a letter from the Bank confirming my savings. Many thanks.”

You will need a letter from the bank along with your updated bank book plus copies of it. It is the same at all offices.
