BANGKOK: -- Two residents at a densely populated community in Phra Pradaeng district of Samut Prakarn province were injured after they jumped out of their two-storey house in a bid to escape from the fast raging fire.

 

Another fireman was also injured when the water hose struck on his left leg while trying to put out the fire.

 

The fire happened at 04.00am Wat Yothinpradit temple community in Phra Pradaeng, according to Samrong Tai station police.

 

Witnesses told police they smelt burning in House No 216/24 and shortly afterwards flame was seen raging out. They then alerted firemen and helped each other to use water to keep the fire from spreading.

 

A dozen of fire trucks was rushed to the scene, but faced difficulties to access to the house as the community was densely populated while residents also fled their homes bring out belongings.
