A SEARCH led by Department of Special Investigation (DSI) yesterday of the Boon Raksa building at Dhammakaya Temple, where Phra Dhammachayo was thought to be hiding, failed to locate the fugitive former abbot.

The search of the 135-room building, which houses ailing monks and is only partially open due to construction work, was overseen by Dhammakaya communication officer Phra Maha Nopporn Punyachayo.

DSI chief Pol Colonel Paisit Wongmuang led officers to conduct the search, also observed by Pathum Thani chief monk Phra Thep Rattanasuthee, National Office of Buddhism officials and provincial governor Surachai Khan-asa.

Is there a white Bronco that's unaccounted for?

Didn't he turn into a lizard and got carried out by police and was set free in Lumpini Park?

Why not just dust-off and nuke the site from orbit?

Try looking for him in his retreat in Mukdahan.

Again this guy is out of the country You will never find him

Even if he was in the country, they couldnt find him., they dont really want to find him. They probably assisted him to escape so they didnt have to arrest him.

Now they can take the moral high ground by calling him "fugitive ". In Thailand the same old tactic repeats itself over and over.
