I am about to renew my retirement extension again,

 

Given how often the requirements change has anyone got the updated list of what you need to show ?

Not the money bit, that has been done to death !

Which immigration office do you report to?

Just got mine in Samui.

Letter from bank

letter from embassy {if using income as part of the 800000}

It is not required in the written rules. But a couple of rogue offices like Samui want one.

Amnat and Roi-Et also request a medical certificate for retirement extensions (not for marriage extensions).

Their explanation was if not on a marriage extension, you must be fit to take care of yourself.....

 

Of course many choose the retirement extension even when married.

You can obtain a medical certificate for 30 baht at a local clinic, issued by the receptionist, so it's really a pointless exercise, but one must comply with their discriminations.

Is that just a requirement in Phuket?  I use Nakhon Sawan and have never had to provide a picture of anything.  If I nailed up a board with my house number on the front of my house, the villagers would think that I just fell off  the sugar cane truck on my head!!

OK

So those offices are applying a MFA requirement for application for an OA Visa which else where is not required for a Retirement Extension.

What's next - police clearance annually to get an extension.?

This is bizarre as using the address photo from marriage extensions in the retirement extensions.

 

Nothing is constant with Immigration except change.
