resort between Pai and Mae Hon Son

Recommended Posts

I am not sure where I saw the website but cannot find it again. In the mountains west of Pai, maybe half way, on the way to MHS there was a listing for a very cooled out looking resort that had both cottages and backpacker accommodations.

Does anyone know the name of this resort?

years back i stayed in Soppong/Pangmapa about 42 kms from Pai, can't remember the resort name but it was okay. There are several places there, maybe the google map link will help jog your memory.

Thanks for all responses - - took some searching but the map helped me find it Cave Lodge...

I stayed in Pang Ma Pha. Can't remember the name of the resort but it was very good. On the main drag about 300 m past the main town. Run by a mia farang.

Years ago my first trip to LOS as tourist on van from CM-MHS...

Some Thai passenger in last row stated puking,

motion-sick from the curves.

We came to this town and i bailed, before hurling myself.

Driver didn't like it.

Stayed at that resort, onlyest guest.

Lady walked into town to get groceries for my dinner

& beer..

Stood by the road next morning until another van came by.

i think i stayed at the same place. My gf and i caught a bus to there from Pai. Rented a Wave from the Mia Farang for the day and drove to Mae Hong Son and back. Had a great time on the bike throwing it through the corners. The poor thing struggled up some of the hills and i had to kick it down into first but it never wavered. :) Was even better coming back with the sun setting, no traffic and the gf too tired to complain about my riding style!
