March 20, 20179 yr Wait a week or two and some other Thai bank will make the opposite forecast because their decision coin toss landed on the other side.
March 21, 20179 yr just 2 weeks ago CIMB and Maybank Kimeng.... in an article posted on ThaiVisa.com... predicted the Baht will ***weaken*** to 37 by year end. 2 weeks ago. of course everyone says "yeah! the Baht is too strong" why should a haircut.. and a shave.... cost more than 10 cents? I guess it's a good question. Edited March 21, 20179 yr by maewang99

The baht strengthening this much doesn't bother me, but I wonder what their analysts saw that wasn't reported. Normally the rise in the Fed overnight interest rate would cause the dollar to strengthen a little. It's been just a tad under 35 for several months now.
