It could mean that. Or I was thinking he was talking about ซื้อแฟน suu fan

ซื้อ suu (buy)

แฟน fan (girl/boyfriend)

Now I know why Thais don't understand when I use just one wrong tone and/or one wrong vowel length. There are so many possibilities to choose from.
