Denied Durian, Nation Churns Over "Mask Singer' Betrayal

BANGKOK — After a four-month wait, audiences were glued to their screens to find out who the man behind the durian mask was. The only thing they found Thursday night was disappointment.

 

More than 1.6 million people had tuned-in online to the live broadcast of what was supposed to be the season finale to Thailand’s No. 1 show “The Mask Singer.”

lol its all about money, squeezing in as much ads possible. this way they got 1 more episode to squeeze. was watching it live on youtube. the amount of ads popping up is crazy.

I usually never watch Thai variety shows.  My GF was watching this show Thursday night and I was noodling on my computer in another room.  When "Durian" began to sing, it instantly caught my attention...it really was a nice song, beautifully sung with a strong background arrangement. I really enjoyed it.

Normally, most Thai TV shows are total bs and I would never bother to seek one out but I wouldn't mind hearing who ever this singer is a few more times.
