BANGKOK: -- The National Legislative Assembly has voted 231-4 in favour of impeaching former foreign minister Surapong Tohvichakchaikul for malfeasance in re-issuing the national passports of ousted ex-prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

PHUKET: -- Royal Thai Army officials on Tuesday visited a dredging site at Suan Luang reservoir, where a project to increase the water retention capacity in preparation for the dry season has been underway since December last year.
