Wong Amat sewage leak plugged

PATTAYA:--Pattaya officials say they finally have fixed the problem that has caused raw sewage to stream onto Wong Amat Beach since December.

 

City spokesman Pinit Maneerat said March 20 that a squirrel had shorted out the wastewater pump at the Naklua beach, causing untreated sewage to foul the beach and sea.

 

Residents first complained about the pollution Dec. 15. It’s unknown why it took three months to check if the pump was working properly.

 

The Provincial Electricity Authority and Wetgo International Co. were brought in to fix the equipment and get the sewage moving back to the Soi Nongyai sewage treatment plant in Pattaya.

So they will be pumping the raw sewerage up to the neglected and not functioning Nongyai sewerage plant that leaks raw sewerage, which ends up in storm water drains, which will leak the raw sewerage back onto the beach.

 

A literal sh1tfight.

And the sh1t that doesn't end up in the ocean from the leaking sewerage plant will end up in local waterways. Their solution will then be to spray the lake with hundreds of liters of dettol.

 

 

And into the klongs killing of any life that has managed to survive thus far.

Maybe it would just be easier to flush it straight onto the beach, just like they do on walking street. It would save a lot of trouble, rather than sending it on a tour around Pattaya.

 

 

Will this sewerage then be added to all the other sewerage at Eddis favorite beach?

 

 

Is it just me, or are other people getting sick of this sh1t?

 

All they have done here is send the problem somewhere else.

Wetgo International Co. Is someone taking the p*ss? Oh, er, they are ..... and the sh*t. Wetgo is preferable to Turdgo as a company name.

Feels like no one gives a sh...

They could always try and plug it at the source.. butt

Ongoing maintenance consisting of a squirrel eradication and deterrent program is now in place to stop this type of sh@t happening in the future.

Officials also believe the crackdown on foreign criminals will results in less arseh@les residing in Pattaya.

Typo

This is by no means the first raw sewage event at Wong Amat - what always amazes me is how strongly expats with property there or statying try to refute this....it has been an ongoing problem for over10 years.
