BANGKOK: -- Police have found new evidence on the killing of a female official at the Education Ministry, as officers traced money-transferring activity from the suspect’s account.

The investigation team revealed the development in the case of Chamlong Phummalai, a 41-year-old driver for the Office of the Welfare Promotion Commission for Teachers and Educational Personnel, who allegedly shot to death C4-ranked official Wassana Burakon, from the same agency, last Tuesday.

Police are now hunting Chamlong after applying for an arrest warrant.

Investigations showed that Chamlong had deposited Bt1 million to his account in March 23, then two days later transferred the same amount to the account of a female teacher in Ang Thong.

Police said this teacher had been in a relationship with Chamlong for around four years and they registered their marriage certification on the day of killing.

A source in the investigation team said police were trying to establish where Chamlong got the money and why he transferred it before allegedly killing Wassana.

ANGTHONG: -- Police arrested on Monday a 49-year-old man who allegedly shot dead a C-4 female official inside the Education Ministry last week.

Police arrested Chamlong Pummalai, a driver for the Kurusapha Teachers Council of Thailand, at 1pm in Angthong province.

On March 28, Chamlong allegedly shot dead Wassana Burakhon, 37, on the lawn of the Teachers Council inside the compound of the Education Ministry. The case made headlines because the murder occurred inside the ministry compound.

Chamlong reportedly killed Wassana out of anger because she had decided to end their romantic relationship after she found out that he was married to another woman.

Police arrested the suspect at his wife’s relative’s house in Angthong’s Pho Thong district.

So, she ends the relationship when she finds out he's already married.  His Thai MaleChild ego can't handle it, so he kills her.

Yep, sounds about right for Thailand, the land of Male Mental Midgets.

If that's true, then he really is a pathetic, miserable excuse of a human being.
